Kyle Edwards

Mr. Edwards spent the first two years of his career performing air quality and groundwater monitoring, as well as various environmental compliance inspections and sampling for an active petroleum refinery. He has performed and managed a variety of risk and contamination assessments in the public and private sectors.  He has extensive professional management experience in environmental site assessment, groundwater monitoring plans, and remediation projects, specifically within the Petroleum Restoration Program (PRP).

Mr. Edwards’ assessment and remediation experience includes conceptual site models, soil and groundwater assessment, and multiple remediation strategies such as: soil excavation, air sparge (AS) and soil vapor extraction (SVE), free product and groundwater recovery and treatment, source removal excavation, emergency response, and Natural Attenuation Monitoring (NAM).  Mr. Edwards has completed hundreds of assessments in accordance with Chapter 62-780 FAC throughout Florida, and is well versed in all closure options outlined in that Code document.

As a Project Manager, Mr. Edwards supervises all daily activities on FDEP projects and provides primary communications to FDEP Site Managers. He plans and oversees all aspects related to technical and administrative tasks associated with FDEP Purchase Orders, and manages and reviews scopes, budgets, schedules, reports, and invoices for timely, efficient deliverables.
